Terms of use

Last updated August 2026. By using this site you agree to the terms below.

Educational content only

Everything on this site is general information published for education. It is not insurance advice, legal advice, broking advice or financial advice, and it does not take your circumstances into account. Nothing here is an offer to sell insurance or an invitation to apply for it. Only a licensed insurer can offer terms and only the policy wording determines what is covered.

Estimates are not quotes

The calculators produce modelled ranges based on published assumptions. Actual premiums depend on underwriting, carrier appetite, your full application and the market at the time. We do not warrant that any estimate will match a quote you receive, and we accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of an estimate.

Acceptable use

  • Do not scrape, mirror or republish the calculators or bulk extract content.
  • Do not attempt to interfere with the site, its security or its availability.
  • Do not present our estimates as your own or as a quote from an insurer.

You may quote short extracts for commentary or research with a clear credit and a link to the source page.

Intellectual property

The text, models, rate curves and design of this site belong to Cost of Cyber Insurance. Trade marks referenced belong to their respective owners.

Advertising

The site carries display advertising. We do not control the content of third party ads and their appearance is not an endorsement.

Third party links

We link to external sources where it helps. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of any site we link to.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any indirect or consequential loss, and for any loss of profit, revenue or opportunity arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will move the date at the top when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
