About
An editorial desk, not a broker
We publish cost research so that buyers can walk into an insurance conversation already knowing roughly what the answer should be.
Why this site exists
Almost every page that ranks for insurance cost questions is published by someone who wants to sell you a policy or resell your contact details. The numbers on those pages are usually vague, and the real product is the form at the bottom. We wanted the opposite: a site where the number is the product, the assumptions are printed next to it, and nobody calls you afterwards.
What we do
- Build and maintain cost models for cyber, technology E&O and D&O insurance.
- Publish the assumptions and refresh the rate curves every quarter.
- Write plain English guides on what these policies cover and what buyers ask for.
What we do not do
- We do not broker, place or sell insurance.
- We do not sell leads or share your details with anyone.
- We take no sponsorships, commissions or referral fees from brokers or carriers.
How we are funded
Display advertising only, served through Google AdSense. That keeps the calculators free and keeps the incentive to send you to a broker off the table. Read the full methodology and independence policy.
Part of a small network
Cost of Cyber Insurance sits alongside Cost of Compliance, which applies the same model to audit and certification budgets. Both sites follow the same rules: independent estimates, published assumptions and advertising as the only revenue source.
